Bunny Storage
Dropshare 6.14 or newer
To set up a connection to Bunny Storage, you need to create a Storage Zone and connect it to a Pull Zone in the Bunny dashboard before creating a Bunny Storage connection in the Connections preferences.
Preparation
Storage Zone
Go to your Bunny dashboard and click Add Storage Zone. Enter a name, choose the main storage region the zone should be hosted in, and create the zone. Then open the storage zone, select Access, and copy the API Access Password. This is your access key. Note down the storage zone name and the region you selected.
Pull Zone
To access files uploaded to your Storage Zone by URL, the Storage Zone needs to be connected to a Pull Zone. Create a Pull Zone and set its Origin to your Storage Zone. Note down the Pull Zone hostname (for example myzone.b-cdn.net), or a custom hostname you have linked to the Pull Zone.
Set Up Connection
Go to the Dropshare preferences, open the Connections tab, and choose to create a new Bunny Storage connection. Enter all required information:
| Preference | Description |
|---|---|
| Storage Zone Name | The name of the Storage Zone you created in the Bunny dashboard |
| Access Key (Password) | The Password of your Storage Zone, found under Access in the storage zone details |
| Region | Select the main storage region your Storage Zone is hosted in |
| Pull Zone Hostname | The hostname of the Pull Zone connected to your Storage Zone, used to build the public file URLs, for example myzone.b-cdn.net, or a custom hostname linked to the Pull Zone |
Click Test Connection to make sure everything has been set up correctly, and you're done!
INFO
Please note that Dropshare does not purge the CDN cache when deleting files. It may take a while for your deleted files to not be served anymore. You can always purge the cache in the Bunny dashboard.
