Menu bar icon not showing ​

Dropshare is a menu bar app. Its icon (see above) should always be visible in the menu bar therefore.

In case it does not show, the reasons could be as follows:

If you are using apps like Ice, Bartender, etc. to organise your menu bar (=configuring which icons are showing), make sure Dropshare is in the "always visible" section.

macOS 26 and newer ​

In macOS 26 and newer, you can configure which apps show in the menu bar in the macOS System Preferences under Menu Bar. Make sure Dropshare is enabled in the list of apps at the bottom of the preferences screen.
